Anshuman and Vidula Jalan Foundation endows largest scholarship fund at ISB

The School instituted the Vidula Jalan Scholarship – the School’s first fully funded scholarship – through a ₹12 Crore endowment from the Anshuman and Vidula Jalan Foundation. The scholarship commenced with the PGP Class of 2025.

Awarded to two students each year (one female and one male) on a need-cum-merit basis, the scholarship covers full tuition and accommodation expenses. It aims to support deserving candidates who may face financial constraints in pursuing management education.

The scholarship has been established in memory of Late Vidula Jalan (PGP Co ‘03) and reflects her belief in the role of education in creating positive impact.

“Vidula always felt strongly about the immense potential of education to create life-altering impact for individuals and to develop society at large,” said Anshuman Jalan, Trustee, Anshuman and Vidula Jalan Foundation. “This scholarship enables us to honour her memory and support students in accessing high-quality management education at ISB.”

This initiative strengthens ISB’s efforts to make education more accessible and inclusive through sustained philanthropic support.
