Punjab & Sind Bank supports ISB in launching initiatives for street vendor empowerment and digital skilling; PGP and PGP YL scholarships

As a part of its CSR commitments, Punjab & Sind Bank will support ISB in launch initiatives in enterprise growth, higher education, and digital skilling.
The MoU for this support was exchanged between Punjab & Sind Bank and ISB in the presence of Swarup Kumar Saha, Managing Director & CEO of Punjab & Sind Bank; DNV Kumara Guru, Senior Director – Advancement, ISB; and Professor Prasanna Tantri, Executive Director – Centre for Analytical Finance, ISB.
Through this partnership, ISB’s Centre for Analytical Finance (CAF) will establish a Street Vendor Enterprises Incubation and Scaling Centre in Punjab. This initiative will identify street vendors with a history of credit discipline under the PM SVANidhi scheme and support them through targeted training, capacity building, mentoring, and access to credit.
The collaboration will also support four merit-based scholarships for students of ISB’s Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and PGP Young Leaders Programme (PGP YL) who have completed their schooling in Punjab. In addition, 1,000 graduate and postgraduate students from the state will gain access to ISB’s curated online learning content to strengthen their capabilities in business, innovation, and emotional intelligence.
This partnership underscores a shared commitment to fostering scalable and sustainable impact across education and entrepreneurship.
