Win by giving to ISB

ISB is a not-for-profit organisation registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act 2013 (Section 25 of the Companies Act 1956).

Donations to ISB are exempt from tax under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961, and we are eligible to receive contributions from donors outside India under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA), 2010.

ISB is registered under Section 12 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, as a charitable institution and approved under Section 10 (23C) (vi) of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

ISB is eligible to receive CSR contributions towards scholarships and research under Schedule 7, Section 135 of the Companies Act 2013.

ISB’s revenue is channelled entirely towards providing high-quality management education and research.

Win by giving to ISB

ISB is a not-for-profit institution registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. Donations to ISB qualify for tax deductions under Section 80G(5) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, subject to applicable rules & conditions. ISB is also registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) to receive foreign contributions.

Applicable tax benefits for donors:

Eligible for deductions under Section 80G(5) of the Income Tax Act

Donations via the Friends of the Indian School of Business Foundation (FISBF) qualify under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.

Those residing outside India and not seeking tax benefits can contribute directly to ISB’s FCRA-designated account.

Major contributions will be acknowledged through website listings, campus displays, and being featured on ISB’s outreach materials.
